Leanin’ Tree Museum of Western Art

Buck McCain’s “Invocation” tells you that you’ve arrived at our unique attraction in Boulder. The monumental 15-foot bronze sculpture faces west, toward the snow-capped peaks of the Rocky Mountains that spread out before our doorstep.

Once inside, you’ll begin an intimate journey through one of the nation’s largest private collections of western art. It is a journey that will lift your spirit and fill your senses with the beauty and drama of the Old West.

Ed Trumble, at left, enjoys a new outdoor sculpture garden with his son, Tom, President.

Ed Trumble founded Leanin’ Tree in 1949 and serves as Chairman of the Board today. His quest for original art by western artists for reproduction on Leanin’ Tree greeting cards led to lifelong friendships with many artists, and a personal collection of art that forms the basis of the Leanin’ Tree Museum.
